I think its a cool idea. Use it but our farm cats are very good. And the beautiful snakes we have.

Never had a problem yet. The nice snakes also keep the rattlers out of the area. I love them.

hey I didn't know there was a seperate contest for lowest small hatcher contest so I did register.

I was looking at the contest page that has all the contests. The worst hatch for the ones with more than 24 eggs has a bigger prize, [ the Brinsea incubater ] than the best hatch rate is Poultry Subliments! I didn't see what the prize is for worst hatch in the small set of eggs.

Um, in my town I'm in walking distance of just about every store we have, but I'm in Utah right now so it was just lucky that there was a store nearby.
And haha thanks!! And I have 3 chickens (a French copper maran, olive egger, and silkie) and I have one mallard duck, but my parents say that when the weather warms up I can get a mandarin and blue Swedish duck

Dont feel bad..... i have hatched out 3 hatches since fall(addicted) and too cold for them out now..Snow 30's teens
7 weekold .5 weeks old ....4 days olds and some eggs hatching JAN 9 and 14TH
Just buiilt a big cage 55x30 for the bigger ones to go over my garden tub Should take them to warmer weather i hope. 4 are Bantam brahmas, 3 are Lav EEs .(Anyone but BYCers would faint.) and three 4 day old part English BBS Orps ....they will get BIG i know . !! Next to hatch dont expect more than 3 each.
.I dont use this bathroom at all and dont have a basement my garage/shed/barn thing is too cold detached metal no insulation... so??? over tub they go Right now they are in tub In totes and around the bathroom more boxes of BIRDS!!!!! HAHA

LOL sounds interesting...umm I had my 4 in my bedroom for quiet awhile, they were so good they would perch on the side of the x-large tote. They then graduated out to the kitchen in a large cage we built. Going outside at the adult coop during the day...but they decided when they were ready to be out there full time. It wasn't easy for me but now I have new baby chicks in my room. They are a week old. If I had a basement or extra room I'd have them all set up. I try to bring the adult birds inside one at a time to visit but they start panting so I know it is to hot inside
