oh, i guess i read it wrong. it is just STOP TURNING at day 16. not lockdown! sorry i'm so silly. all these details, i'm a wreck, he he!

So why is it not set up and full of eggs yet?

But seriously, we came back 17:00 after a 7 hour drive to and from the warehouse and 2 hours looking for the place. Google maps put them in the wrong location!! And every time we stopped and asked we either got misdirected even more or the person we asked had no idea where the place was. We spent 2 hours driving around looking for it before we pulled into and industrial estate and found it. 3 Miles from where we expected to find it.

I've got up with a headache and found DH took the last pain pill. And then I forgot to buy some at the shop we stopped at on the way. I'm so tired I'm not going to unpack or look at it 'till tomorrow! Then I'll see how the egg situation works out and set 3 or 4 as a test run. I'd love to set more, but space is an issue here and I have to keep what I got for new pens for the important chickens. I'm looking for a bigger place to rent with a bit of land.

So, why do you stop turning at day 16 with funky air cells? I get not turning the for a while in the first week ish but I don't get stopping turning earlier... :/

Ok, candled (day14)

I have
1 wobbly air sac
1 saddle shaped air sac
8 angled air sacks (at the fat end but instead of forming a straight line across the top it's closer to a 20-30 degree angle
1 abnormally large air sac
2 with a good air cells but I can see half way down to a dark blob. Guessing these quit but I don't want to risk tossing them if they just are easier to see into for some reason.

6 'good' air cells with black interiors.

Thoughts? Everyone is going into cartons for hatching, that's for sure!

Wow. Interesting reading. That gives me hope actually; most of mine aren't nearly as bad as those. Not even close.

Finally finished the first show for my school play! I was the only crew member working on the set so when bowing time came I just like awkwardly edged out onto the stage xD
3 more shows to go!!!

And sorry mrs. Sally I just realized I don't have a candling light except my phone, which I was gonna use to take the video, so I wasn't able to do the air sac experiment today ): I'll try tomorrow when I find a flashlight!

Also, I'm gonna be getting some eggs to incubate soon!!!! WHOOP! 3D tell me when you get yours, okay? I'm so excited!

Just a thought on your experiment...do you have people shaking sideways and people shaking big end up.

I had to shake "every which way to loose"!! LMAO
