Yes, and they offered to give me eggs too! The person I'm talking about to give me eggs is another person altogether. Getting them on Wednesday. She is my mom's friend. She says she has Americaunas, umm, Barred rocks, (i think) rhode island reds, and I think possibly welsummers. Se also said she has a few more, but she doesn't know their breeds. She said her daughter saves them when they escape from a hatchery's shipping truck when they are getting ready to transport them. (I think when they are pullet size, since she catches them running through the fields) I got my mom to ask for a dozen eggs from all the assorted breeds. She says she gets a dozen eggs a DAY. :0 I only asked for 12 in case my other neighbor calls back some time.

HAHA Yes! Actually I told 2 of my friends that I would give them any roosters I hatch. I doubt I'll get any more than three this time around. (if that!) The breeds are exciting! :0 Maybe I'll just build a huge coop or buy a shed to put them in this summer. XD I won't have any more than one roo though. I'd rather have none. (not giving away Hope!)

Day 3 fertility check update!!!! Most of the eggs were too dark to see, but the 2 silkie eggs are viable!!!!
