Two more pips tonight! My early arrival is doing great. Looks like tomorrow will be a hatching day. I hear several internal pips.

UPDATE!!!

Well, no one else has hatched yet... But I have a while lot of chirping & 14 pips. One from yesterday that pipped hasn't progressed. My humidity is at 70% so, I'm not sure if I should be concerned yet about shrink wrapping. (it has been 13 hours).

I'm nervous because I have to leave for several hours today. My son leaves for the Airforce March 5th and the whole family is having a "ship off" celebration for him. When we set the date, I completely spaced it was hatch day. Maybe it will be a good thing I'm gone for a while. Uggh!

Oops... Make that 15 pips!
YAY holy WOWZA!!! We have a cochin hatching! and then another is due in a day or two, I forget : / and then more go into lockdown tonight depending on air cells!

NOTE: I am finding all these FRESH eggs from our own stock that Daddo kept adding to the incubator are having small air cells so I am leaving them in the bator at normal humidity a day/or two extra but NOT turning and then put in the hatcher, MIND you I keep a close eye on them.... all the past few weeks babies have been hatching with me doing this. So I definately think its better to collect eggs for a few days and THEN set not only because of chaos but because of cells. I will continue through all daddos eggs this way and we can see how it works out.... but it does get pretty confusing if you dont write your notes on the egg!

It can take 24hrs from pip to zip. Don't worry yet.

Lol! Thanks Chicksooner! I hate when it takes them that long! Seems like the longer they wait to zip, the more issues I've had to deal with. (feet, sticky chick, shrink wrapped). I'm trying to convince this to them through the incubator window, but there not listening to me. Patience.... Patience... PATIENCE!!!! :D

The first pipper just started making movements again.
