if i win the essay competition, i will do a great deal on feed

Thanks everyone for the information!

We were in town, so I went ahead and purchased Povidone-Iodine. Now that I have both that and the Iodine Tincture, which do you reccomend using?

They both say that they are first aid antiseptics for minor cuts, scrapes, and burns.

I dont think it matters but since we know a bit more and u have both, I would use the pov, yes?

I have alot of chickens

Sally, how many times have I asked you how many chickens you've got and you couldn't tell me? How many chickens have you got? Not counting future chickens in the incubator.

Ducks are BACK in the garage! uggggg too many people stopping in to check on me and too much distraction! Duck Haus remains incomplete unfortunately, but it has a door! LOL

Chicken Chicken Chickens! They are so scared of the ducks, they ran into the coop and huddled on top of each other in a corner!
what a bunch of chickens! I would have never thought! and the poor ducks were out of sorts just wanted to be with them and didnt understand why they kept running from them! and I swear my chickens growl!
I don't blame them! They have huge beaks and flat feat and they waddle. Wouldn't you be scared if you were a chicken and you saw something like that approaching? Heaven knows what it must look like to them! LOL

Quote: yes... did u read easter hatchalong?

"Sally when was the last time your incubator was empty?"
and then I had to think! The coolerbator was only empty long enough to clean it and then set immediately for PETES! It is due for a shut down!
NO MORE EGGS after this easter hatch, so in less than 20 days its unplugged and scrubbed!

oh and stored! somewhere I cant see them!

We're going to hold you to it

LOL The day you stop incubating is the day I get worried!

Oh heck, I've really confused the issue! LOL Sorry, but I was a bit concerned when I read that bit about iodine poisoning. There is a lot of contrasting information on Iodine out there. I'd be interested to know which one is the best to use for what. But while in doubt I'd go for the Povidone-iodine.
