We ordered a dozen R.I.R from the same company you did, we received ours within 2 days. They came from Pennsylvania. How funny. 3 eggs were broken. We set ours under a brooding hen. after a week, the nest was abandoned, 2 eggs were gone, and one had busted, rotten nasty mess! From now on I will find a local, drive and get my eggs myself!

Sally some of those look like cream legbars. They are autosexing. I can't remember which has the dot though.

Sources for eggs are to search the BYC buy sell trade section, Craigslist and eBay. Your local thread on BYC may be the best bet for local eggs! Look for your local site in the “Social section” “Where am I? Where are You!” on BYC.

So the button quail all head into lockdown tues and more serama. Not sure if quail are viable cant see in them well and the light blue ones that I can see in looked to have rolling air cells : (

after this lockdown its Easter lockdown and DONE! at least for a month

I take that back, or until I get a doz brahma and silkies collected

this house is finally over half way done !!! cannot wait to get home and get started on my new flock for this year !!! and have finally picked the breeds i want but gonna keep my one rir til forever cause she was a gift from my sister !!!

i get moved i am gonna try the button quail again too they are so adorable !!!!
