With a spread out hatch do you open the incubator quick and get chicks out as they dry? Or leave them in the whole time?
Leave chicks in the bator. Opening it to take out one or two chicks will compromise the rest.
Halo is eating like there is no tomorrow! after he ate we offered some meals and he was all excited!

so as far as sprite he got it thats for sure!

Go Halo! Hopefully his spirit will pull him thru this too.

ALL YOU EASTER HATCHALONGERS did you see the prizes so far for the CONTEST TOMORROW NIGHT????
I hope I did well and everyone has fun or I will be totally bummed!

Thanks for sharing Sally!

I quit keeping up with the thread... I'm still participating, but I'm 1,300 posts behind and I wouldn't have seen this if it weren't for you sharing it. I can't wait until tomorrow night!

I really wish I could donate a prize, but I don't have anything.. only getting 1 - 2 eggs a day and I'm not NPIP yet.. sigh.. Do you know if there are any other big hatch-a-longs? or is it just NYD and Easter?

oh I dont know about others, I am starting to wear out on this one, and only have a few contests ending soon lol next week will be chaos

How's Halo doing now Sally? Have you examined his leg? He's so beautiful, but I remember him being white? Been awhile since you posted a pic of our thread starter

He's gorgeous

I'm so tempted to get some silkies too, but I'm resisting. I got lots of chickens "for fun" already and once that sneaky broody hen hatched hers... I'm going to have to sell some! How's your broody doing?
