Chicken Babysitter for hire! Pay your bills Watching chickens!

I ran into a very interesting read to say the least! I am not sure this is the job for me, but I would love to hire someone to feed and water my flock! And even those coop cleanings would be sweet! What I am wondering is....how to feed water and lock them up at night if there is more than one customer! For sure the foxes would beat them to it! I wonder if I could pay her with eggs?

oz this doesn't look like Bernie to me??????

awwww they had been set big end up, and turned properly? sometimes people hand turn them wrong and sorta flip them end to end instead of rolling them, that can cause it as well.... I think I have something written in the article about that. what did the membranes look like? remember eggtopsys are to help guide u with your next hatch, so even pics can be good and we can help you better too!
Well they were in an egg turner until day 18. And fat end was up. I already threw them out, but the membranes looked kinda dry and right close to the bodies. Not sure if that's bc today is day 25 or if I shrink wrapped them. They clearly had made it to at least day 18 though. And most of the blood veins were absorbed. I saw a tiny but of yolk or the chailse? on one of them facing up. My guess is humidity. I tried doing it "dry method" but without a scale. So I was going off the lines on day 7,14 and 18. Since this was my first time I am guessing I misread them. What do you guys think?
Haha and to think I thought incubating would be easy! Put 2dozen eggs in and get 2 dozen chicks out, riiiight??? I don't think we will be using shipped eggs again.

judging shipped egg aircells is a crap shoot as they are often just not shaped right.

there is a small scale on amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000P1NYE8/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Its $6.30 and a great investment - atleast to you get a better understanding of air cells.

How Dry is dry?

I feel like getting turkey eggs..... oz talk turkey, three a year to feed holiday meals? start them now?

I am torn here....
I like looking at pretty turkeys, perhaps I should do the ugliest of ugly so as I can eat it?????
yea a little help here please?

I will report back with my findings in a bit

Quote: wow that's cheaper than mine!

Note: Kitchen scales work great. The WeighMax Pocket Mini CD Digital Scale below works great if you weigh individual eggs. I pasted an egg carton cup firmly to hold the eggs. Be extremely careful not to tip your scale and crack your eggs!

Well I went looking for Turkeys and bought 24+ button quail eggs from Maryland!

Someone say shipped???
