Candled my eggs 16 out of 19 on my shipped eggs. Couple of air cells are still wobbly. 100% on my buffs that I set with the shipped eggs. Today is day 9 and I woke up to temps running high like 102 high. Let them get a cool off while I candled and I am adjusting the thermostat again. I am dreaming of a coolerbator...

I Gotta attempt some shopping, as much as I despise it, DH Bday tomorrow, plus I have a load of mulch coming, some mystery eggs coming, and more chicks to be picked up at 3:30! YAY My Cochins went fast after my CL ad yesterday! I only have 7 chicks left! But I needed to loose them so I placed the ad in the farm section 5 for 20 bucks and of course I threw in their gorgeous photos, lol

Everyone that comes wants to steal my silkie babies and serama though!
I am thinking making another brooder so I can bypass my "keeper grow out 1st chicks" when people come to choose chicks

the one lady seemed irritated because I wouldn't sell her some of the serama and brahma! sheeeezzz I was glad when she left

Yep! She attempted to lay an egg a couple times, but they came out without shells, so now that she is eating her hen food, she should be good to go! Just hope she doesn't get an egg stuck, because she is a month early with the laying...

Girl, you're way braver than I am. I always meet people in the grocery store parking lot. Terrified if they know where I live and see some of the stuff I have, they'll be back later to try and take something. It's sad that I have to be so paranoid, but my fears aren't unfounded. There are some strange people out there! I've got guns, but I have to sleep sometime.

Make it a reality! The parts for mine cost less than what I spent on this 1588 with turner, and I hate that thing.

That's a really good idea. If anyone is in or traveling to Montana and would like to see how easy it is, please do send me a PM and stop by! I've often thought of putting together a kit to sell with everything needed and simple setup instructions (obviously the end result would be more neat and professional than what I pictured, lol), or even finished coolerbators. I'd offer a simple layaway plan to make them affordable for everyone, too. Just don't have time right now to do it.

The idiot in question is 59 dont think that will work only two eggs left and im so worried they mite be damaged thanks for the reply.
