Looks like Hope isn't going to have a buddy for a while. The hatchery doesn't have any shipments coming to where I live in a while (months), so I guess Hope will have to deal with me for a while longer. XD I am thinking that maybe I'll try the hatching process again... With a better incubator though. I won't be doing this until after Hope is okay to do her own thing (without extra heat) so I won't be full of things to do. I am going to start thinking about how I will build my incubator... Maybe I'll just but chicks.

So sweet and so sad

I just dont get it,,,, cried like a baby this am... harmony was really bad but DH took her to grammas xmas party so Ithink she will be ok now.....

he was fine took all those pics and vid last week n friday.... then last night he seemed tired, just standing around sleeping.... so I put them all to roost and he musta made a cozy spot on the floor in the shavings (fresh clean shavings too) and tucked his head and breathed shallow and finally passed.... this is the 2nd in less than a month!! well I walked around in the run and the only thing I seen is a few pcs of styro the board kind to insulate houses, lucas was playing with a leftover sheet and some of the bits musta blown in... I am assuming its the styro!!! I felt him up and down and looked all over at him before I put him to roost... didnt see anything wrong!!! ugggggg if it happens to another I am doing a blood drawl and sending it off!

Bator update.... this sounds more enthused than I am....

The "OE" eggs ALL hatched! we have six of them!!
One langshan pipped wrong end and drowned and the other is fluffing up but has a weird navel growth, like a double hernia?? I have had peeps "kick out" too soon and seen a big naval but this one looks like intestines or something.... I just read that I can maybe push them back in, so what the hell I will try..... so only one langshan

YIPPY but how can u set if you dont have bags??  pics pics!!

They are in guam at the moment (3am local time christmas day) while the plane is refueling.

The bags will arrive on christmas day lunch time in Bacolod.

Check his crop contents? If you can...
