How do you know its a boy?

So I was doing some research about how to tell by flight feathers if you have a female or male. Is anyone good at being able to tell? Here are 2 pictures ...male or female?

With this breed, the colored dorkings have a stripe over their eye. Just opposite of the silver gray Dorking. My avatar is poops. This little guy has the same coloring as he did as a chick so I know he's going to be a very colorful, Colored Dorking. He has all 10 toes too... Yay!

See the stripe? I'll take better pictures when he's all dry and hopefully the other two are girl so I can show you the comparison for this "color" breed. I've read about feather sexing but can't remember. I think 3D posted something on this thread about it.

Yep... Another Dorking trait. They are an ancient breed on the "threatened" list. Fascinating history

OMG Sumi did I show you the pic of the deformed beak and eyes of that chick I assisted when all the marans hatched last week? UGGGGGG poor thing

I am debating adding that to the end of the step by step assisted hatch article, so people KNOW what else they can find in assisting, weak, deformed sick chicks ???????????????????????????????????????

Is it the same chick? They both look like girls to me. Two layers of feathers on both... I'm starting to think maybe Hope is a boy after all...
