if there is no turner u can double stack till u pull inferts day 7 just keep moving eggs around.Ok, I managed to fit 20 eggs in the bator... There are 5 left. What should I do with them? If I put them in my chickens' nest (the hens have established 1 universal nest for all of the eggs to go in) would they incubate them? I have one full grown FCM hen, and one mallard duck hen, a rooster, and a 4 1/2 month old silkie pullet.... Would it be safe to put the eggs in their nest and see if they incubate them??
Oh my gosh! I went outside and put 4 eggs in the nest, Aqua (the hen) and Cappa (the pullet) get up and inspect the nest, and boom! Just like that, Aqua climbs in the nest and sits down right on top of the eggs!!!!!

awe im sorry…. i hope the others are ok!!!Chipped a hole in the top of the chipped / cracked egg. It was like opening a cave into the air cell. I didn't see any white outer membrane connected to the inside of the shell. Didn't see movement , couldn't recognize a beak. Still had light veining. Checked the other buff egg ( since the one idid hatch was buff) and pretty much the same thing. They both have/ had large air cells the one chick that did hatch had the largest cell of all. Didn't have the heart to look at any others just yet. No internal pips when candled.I have to run downtown. Let me know what you think I should do next.![]()
