I have used my kids temporal thermometer. Works like a charm.

I'm kind of worried, my silkie egg internally pipped last night and externally pipped a couple hours ago, but I have seen absolutely no progress since the external pip.. Will it be ok??

Give it 24 hrs. it knows what to do.

Well I gotta go to school almost directly after I get up and by the the time I get home from school it will have been pippe for about 24 hours if it doesn't hatch while I'm at school and I won't be able to keep an eye on it because my parents know absolutely nothing about chickens (literally) I guess I just gotta hope the chickie can do it!

Chickie will be waiting for you either in the morning when you wake up or when you get home.

A couple hours is no time compared to how it usually takes! I think it will be okay. And YAY!
