:fl  Good luck! I love the blue eggs!!!

If they are rocking they are preparing to hatch! Don't worry!!!

Blue eggs are cream leg bars!! 3 outa 4 ferts... Hope I said fert and not farts kinda tired! Lol
Yay for bubba butt! He looks awesome!
Way to go sparky !!! Hatchet chick chick..oops I mean hatchey! Ok goin to sleep read through all posts and super cool on everyone's progresses
Welcome rare bear!!

Ugh!!!! I wanna scream and cry!! My eggs are on day 21 and no piping or anything!! I'm so frustrated! I figured at least 1 would be doing something! I see some of the eggs rock and move but that's it! I had good temp and humidity throughout!
Anyone hatched yet?

Ok, I left squirt in the bator with the others, but I have Robin in the far corner of the bator on a wet paper towel surrounded by a sponge and some shells from the other chicks that makes a cradle for her to absorb in
How are they doing?

I hope I am joining this group in the correct way. I will be setting 24 eggs next week.
Welcome to the thread

we have pips in the silkie egg and the cochin egg in the hatcher.... hopefully they hatch soon because I need to clean it for all the silkies sizzles and serama headed in on sunday!!

Did I mention I am chicked out? LOL I better get a grip as I have a looooonnnnggg way to go until this bator is empty!! Harmony is getting serama eggs from Bhep (giving them to her to boot!) and they should be here tomorrow and she told me 18 she is sending her! OMG! Harmony is thrilled, we have well over a doz button quail eggs in but I think they are all hens! I get three eggs a day! so I am getting someone elses buttons next week and will set them and pray for a male. AND then I am saving silkies and cochin for the easter hatchalong!! So I will have quite a few chicks to sell by the end of the month! but who knows with shipped eggs right? always expect less than 25% and if you get 50-75% you lucked out big time!

I am still paranoid about bubba, I still have bubba and his two friends aside me almost all the time! and I am forever peaking in on them, I think bubba hates me for all I have done to him, he runs as fast as he can when he sees my hand! the others run to peck me! LOL even his stance is closing up!

ALSO my spitz are getting their mohawks already! they just started to pop up and so cute!!! and the WFS are sleek little guys! I think it takes a long time (a year?) till they get the actual white faces, Sumi gal help me here?
Goodness, Sally. You started a hatchery! And it sounds like you're doing great

I looked and I read it takes "quite a while for the white face to develop". I'll see what else I can find. They're also called "clown face chickens" funny that's what I thought when I saw them! They do look like unfriendly clowns.

30 days? Is this the goose egg? If it's slowing down I think you should candle and mark the air sac and then make a little hole in the fat end of the egg so it can get some fresh air in there. Hopefully that will inspire it. Have you read through Sally's article on assisted hatches?

No luck this morning either. Still have some rocking but no pips yet. I really don't know what else to do besides let nature take its course. I know on day 18 I saw good movement in most of my eggs. I've got 21 in the incubator and only 3 have been noticeably rocking. I was having a hard time at first keeping my humidity above 60. Finally got it stable about 65 on day 20. Not sure if this could have anything to do with it. I was told to candle today but I'm nervous! If there is any chance of them possibly just being delayed a few days I don't want to handle them to much. It's really upsetting to think that they may not hatch. Not sure what my next move should be :(:(

Yes, it's my sebastopol goose egg. The air cell is marked, but the gosling hasn't internally pipped yet. I assumed that I shouldn't make a saftey hole until after it's been internally pipped for a while. Maybe I'm just overly worried as I want this egg to hatch very badly.

Celtics Oaks said that her goslings are usually out at day 30. Temperature ran at a steady 99.5 degrees.

I'll just have to give it more time. And yes, I've read Sally's article, Pete's article, and a few others and I've sucessfully assisted hatches many times before.
