awwwwwww !!! I am overrun with chicks right now! and I dont want to deal with the people whom I am getting emails from that want to come get some!

Need some help here.....

I have a few hens with a bit of feather loss at butts, so I will dust them all tomorrow, but while I was observing I notices some weird cackles, deep like congested so I picked up our huge blue partridge brahma roo in the layer pen with all the mix gals and saw tiny bubbles in the front part of his eyes......

Question is.... do I give them all a shot of tylan one time or should I give the sulmet in the water for 5 days????

Sorry Sally but I don't know. I haven't put very much research into diseases.

I was wondering about my gosling's navel. I took pictures this morning, but I couldn't get a clear picture of her navel no matter how hard I tried so I'll just describe it. Her navel goes out a little bit and then meets a small black mass. After the black mass is my piece of green yarn where I tied her cord. The black mass seems to be preventing her navel from closing, but it's very much attached. Is there anything that I should do?

I am not sure with out pics, I would assume it will turn black and fall off, perhaps you should switch to iodine now to help dry it out?
