This was a new pip, isnt it a weird pip for a pip and not zip? and no beak in sight!
should I worry? I dont think so, because it obviously has plenty of air right! LOL

It's normal, don't worry. Sometimes mine barely lift the shell and sometimes they knock bits off. As long as they pip and zip I leave them to it!

Fantastic markings! I love face markings on chicks. Pity they lose it when they feather out.

I feel like a horrible person... Goosey had to leave the house today. I just put her in with the cochin bantam chicks because they are about the same size as her being 8 weeks old. When I left, she was pacing back and forth, jumping up the wall, and crying her little heart out. I feel so bad, but mom and dad said that she can't be in the house anymore...
