There were 9 in total, I haven't uploaded the last pics yet. Gosh, those things are adorable! I was not expecting them to have so much personality and be so demanding! LOL They're like "HOLD ME, LOVE ME" and when you hold them they are all over you. Next hatch I want to keep some!

Yes, the magic of imprinting! haha. They are incredibly sweet.

I just put the light at one end of the brooder so they can get away from it if they want.

So we had paste up issues last year. But this year we have not had 1 paste up. I totally attribute it to less heat! I moved their lamp up higher and higher everyday. Sometimes twice a day. By 2 weeks they were out in the coop under a heat lamp at night. Temps dropped to 40 degrees outside, I went to check on them and they weren't even huddled. If I have learned anything it's that chickens are tough.

Hmmm I don’t know. I know I just got it out a few hours ago but things are not looking so good. I have placed it alone in a box with a heat lamp next to the brooder that it’s siblings are in. I gave it a bath, wow it was a dried up stiff mess. I tried helping it straighten its legs. It didn’t seem to mind but would curl them right back up. I am wondering if I should have played God with this one. I tried to dip its beak in water and it started doing that gagging thing. Sticking its tongue out unnaturally. It did not look like what they usually do when they drink. It stopped chipping for about 5 mins after that and kept its mouth open a lot. It is back to chirping but check out those legs. Not sure what to think.

The gagging when you dip his beak in water is normal. Since it's their first time drinking. They are like "Woah! What is this?" The gagging should wear away after a day or so. The tongue stinking out... Well, I'm not sure. Other BYC'ers should know a LOT more than me! LOL.
