I had a long quote open to begin with and it erased itself magically so i did those last smaller ones ... the big one included

for those who lost babies and

for the new chickies - pretty baby silkies sally

and i hope your headache gets better !! DH has had a headache for about 3 days now and nothing is touching it at all

My brahmas are growing so fast lol and i have a nn abd mysetery chick that escape and get in the brooder with the bantam babies or sit atop their brooder

chicadee and tuxedo on top of their brooder ... i have to clean the top and inside today for some reason lol

My eggs in the bator are staying at 101.8 still and look good .. gonna candle tonight ... thinking if their is no growth in the duck eggs ( i know they take longer) i am gonna pull them so i dont risk exploding big eggs splashing onto little eggs and making a mess and growing bacteria ....

What breed is Chickadee, is that a Brahma?? My Chickadee is a Mille Fleur D'Uccle, my fav little hen

Have you tried to give your DH some Gatorade or Powerade? Maybe he is dehydrated? Also, I use anti inflammatories for my headaches-Naproxen- Hope Hope Hope he gets rid of that!!!!

I get HORRIBLE migraines, I can sympathize. For some reason the only thing I have found that helps me when migraine is a bottle of Vanilla Frappuccino. I have tried coffee before, but comes back up. Caffeine helps to dilate the blood vessels in the brain and allows better blood flow and thus more oxygen to the brain. But can further dehydrate, if that is the case.
OZ- is that correct?

before I start reading all the pages you all posted.....

I need to cry

We all just said goodbye to Hawaii, Maui, Stripe, Harley and those two tiny bantam ameraucana hens.
A friend got them all for a wonderful price, I am now down to 8 layers in the layer coop.

Next week is processing for 3-4 big roos, that will be harder for sure for the first time.
I pray I can figure out a way to get the serama paired up and gone as well as a few oddball chicks.
I need to get NPIP cert so birds MUST GO unfortunately, I know I am a hoarder.
Funny thing is DH is P/Od for me selling the layers, I cant win at all.
He says one thing and then I know he is right so I do what is right and then he is mad at me???? I feel so terrible

DH has been drinking lots of water and gatorade and tried some of his pepsi to get caffeine ... and took ibu aleve and vicodin at one point ( not all together i edited to add) ... if it does not ease off soon i will try and drag him to the er for it as he is so so so miserable ...

I know you all incubate chickens but when you lockdown on day 18, so it's 4 days before hatch? So if my duck eggs are due on the 15th then would I put them in lockdown today the 12th or tomorrow the 13th?
