yes tuxedo is a naked neck or turken ... i wanted another one for months as i lost both my beuatiful roosters when we had a predator issue last year ... my sister found hin at tsc and there was only one and she gave him to me !!!! he is the leader of the two crew escapees lol
Silver I am thinking about hatching a naked neck silky (white or black) thoughts? I guess I should google them and see which look nicest.

I pipped 5 that are chirping and added moisture. The peeps are strong and loud. I didn't detect any movement or sounds in the other 15.
Another update. we have 10 eggs that are alive. 3 are chirping and I have started assisted hatch and have the shell removed so they can break out of the liner when they are ready. I have 7 others that are alive and we artificially pipped for them and my wife rubbed bacitraycin on them to moisten them. We are following the step by step guide to assisted hatching and she is reading and telling me what to do. I am a little unclear about the 7 that don't have a pip in the lining. They are moving. Are they simply not ready? I have added moist paper towels to several eggs. We have filled up the water troughs and cleaned out all the dead eggs and extra shells. I hope we can get a few more chicks out of all of this.
just remove the shell above the air cell correct? and leaving inner membranes correct? if they are not chirping they are not ready or stuck however could be malpositioned. can you see the beaks? I try not to open them for an assist if I don't have internal pips unless its a lonnng air cell from shipped eggs and I KNOW its malpositioned.

Pog- I always miss them.....not sure where they are listed!!

Im seeing bits and pieces of the ordered eggs being dirty or something. I have other things on my mind. However, I did order a dozen eggs from a person on this site. I received 14 and only one did anything. I followed the 101 of shipped eggs and allowed 36 hrs before setting and then another 48 before I turned the turner on. I have 27 eggs from Kylie at ekfarms and 22 are good in the same incubator. I also got 16 from Papa Brooder and only 8 are good but we knew that we had a chance of bad eggs because of some of his help on the weekend when he was gone screwed a few things up for him. I needed them for my bator so as not to throw off everything and he sent what he had and told me to let him know when I candled. Papa Brooder told me just the other day that he would send me another batch and asked when I wanted them. This other person has blamed it on the Postal service and I guess Im just out the 40 bucks. Or I spent 40 bucks on one egg that may or may not hatch. That's one expensive BLRW.
yes it is, like Halo should have been called bling right!
