Tell me whatcha THINK
I will add that DH wasn't happy about helping me video and I grabbed the first audio on the list! he he he

REMEMBER this is the HOT WATER, NO STRAIN method! instead of all that water on top, it settles at the bottom because of the "loaf" on top! so the bottom of the feed will always be wetter than the top and hold some of the brewing juices needed for next batch! Just always leave about 4" in the pot after you pull your feed to use for your next batch!
I LOVE this. Do you know how intimidated I've been to try this? It sounded complicated. That looked super easy, maybe I'll give it a try. *** Side Note: I think I watched this too early in the morning because, I'm watching feed being mixed and strangely wanted to cry because of the music. Pretty Funny.

ok i am thinking starting on wednesday ( girls day out tommorow ) i will start recapping our days in one summary posts (short ones ) ..and cover for example late tuesday night thru early wednesday night ... and then .. if i have time ( like i have a life before this summer lol ) doing a recap of the week from mondays to sunday night around 10 pm or so and post it every monday ( longer summary to put the week together ..b/c sometimes things go so fast some people cant read and catch up and skip..not that that is a problem or anything is wrong with that) ...how does that sound ?
That sounds great, and don't stress over it. It should be fun for you

Video taken 12 hrs before these photos

Okay Sally, I finally found a spare moment to upload pictures. I had seven hatch and five that didn't. The first is a picture of the non-hatchers which seem to have a range of issues (they were all shipped eggs). The second is my picture of happy cuteness. Of course, I have added three white midgette turkey poults since I snapped it (thanks to the link on turkey incubation that you sent me).

one was really, really wet and upside-down, two were shrink wrapped and two were just dead, no idea why.

The ones that hatched- Six ameraucanas and one silver laced wyandotte bantam.

Thanks so much for your help.
what were your findings in the dead eggs? the pic wont get bigger and I am old and blind as a bat!

What a wonderful color scheme of those chicks! you need to design a room off that image!
oh no my old self is talking!! I thought I shoved that design stuff way down to be forgotten!
