My husband actually came up with the name TMNfarm (our last name is Tuominen) for our little place when my kids started competing with their horses. He wanted to have jackets made with the name on it. He was exceptionally proud of his little girl and all of her accomplishments with her pony. I resisted because we were newbies at the horse stuff and I didn't want anyone to think we had such huge egos that we would put our names on jackets!! As some of you know, my husband passed away suddenly 3 years ago. He never got to see his daughter be truly sucessful, or watch his sons succeed with their horses. I so wish I would have let him brag when he had the chance, so I now proudly display our farm name wherever and whenever I can!!

Thanks, Sally. It has been tough. He was my world, and my kids' world. He was an awesome husband, and awesome Daddy, just an all around great man. We miss him terribly every single day, but to fall apart would have been to dishonor everything he stood for. He loved me for my strength and he left me in this world to care for the kids we created and loved so much. I live to honor him and know that I will see him again one day in Heaven. It has been three years, and we have been able to carry on and find joy in our lives, and joy in remembering the man he was.OMG how devastating, I am terribly sorry to hear this. You are a major strong woman for sure. awwwww gosh how terrible.
Did you ever draw up a logo with the name?

Take them out quick and put a wet cloth/paper towel in to bump the humidity up again. I used wet toilet paper. It was handy! LOL Worked very well too.Ok... Enough with the sad stuff now... On to baby duckies!!
I have 3 babies in my hatcher that hatched out last night and one more egg to hatch that pipped sometime last night. Given how long it took for the others to go from pip to zip to hatch, I'm wondering about taking the babies out of the hatcher. I don't want to compromise the last egg... What do I do?? It is only the small pip, it hasn't started making the hole bigger yet. Can I take them out quickly and throw in a wet paper towel to preserve the humidity?? Any advice?? Thanks!
