Sally, that's a round cushion made out of burlap with the french motif on it. It has a handle on the side so you can carry it somewhere and then sit on it on the floor. I'm just glad the chicks didn't poo on it while I took their pics. The rug in the background with french cursive writing on it came from Ballard Designs in Atlanta and it's an indoor/outdoor rug so it can be cleaned easily (with a 10 year old boy, a rabbit, a cat and chickens I need easy clean). I nearly furnished my whole house from the Ballard Design Outlet store in ATL! Lol. I live in the panhandle of FL but I go to ATL once a month for a weekend for my son to see his dad. I'm a single mom and I love sweet chaos my boy and furbabies bring to my life. I have a small garden in my fenced back yard and I have fruit trees planted all around my small lot. I live in town in a subdivision. I have 6 citrus trees (satsumas, lime, lemons, tangerines, and kumquats) along with cherry, pear, plum, and fig trees. I also have about 6 blue berry bushes of varying sizes and a blackberry patch. I work full time in child protective services in our county.


My first egg from my Barred Rock in my bed of greens. She didn't lay it there, I just put it there to take a pic.


This is part of my raised bed garden with peas and cabbage. My pea vines are just loaded with peas that I pick each day.

Sounds awesome there!! your soil looks very rich too! it doesn't look like sandy panhandle soil! Congrats on the new layer too! And I think your wonderful to run like that for the kiddo and Dad!

I just got 12 T Polish eggs in the mail from wins! yay and friggen BOOO


Exactly 12 very clean eggs, but in the tiniest box ever and all banged up, this is why DOUBLE BOXING IS IMPORTANT, REQUEST IT. I didn't want to push as I was lucky to even get the eggs at this point so I didn't send the letter from oz or make any packaging requests. Had I bought them, yes you betcha butt I would have requested!

EVERY fragging air cell is messed up and the eggs look old with huge air cells which causes such messy shipped eggs! two are completely rolling and one has hairline cracks, I will attempt to wax that egg though. I so want to hatch these special polish for my friend, she is so nice and so giving and grrrrrrr. By all that's in me I will GET HER SOME CHICKS OUT OF ALL THESE EGGS!!!

Did I mention Polish and silkie eggs are THE worst eggs to ship??? Yes, I did not too long ago either! and they lay sporadically so the breeders tend to hold eggs and they get too big air cells for shipping them.

SO PLEASE pray for my special friends eggs! She really would LOVE them and I so want to give her them!!!!

how many and what colors do you want? I can collect a few eggs I am getting blue, splash, white and partridge out of my pens. They lay sporadically though....
Silkie and polish eggs are THE HARDEST eggs to ship out, I don't know if its because people have to collect longer since they don't lay as great as some other breeds or if its the membrane is weaker than most. I can start collecting and let you know how many I can get in a few days.

That would be awesome! Um I don't know how many, you are the eggspert. I am not even sure on color. I'm not really picky I just know I loved my Silkie Chloe and she was black with silver tips. Not sure it was her color as much as her sweet personality that I loved. You do all the decision making and let me know what and how to pay. . See how I totally let myself off the hook?

I have a chickie with a splayed leg. Her right leg splays out from her body and she can't get it under her to stand up. Her left leg is fine. Suggestions?

And is this a boy or girl wing? Anybody in the guessing mood?

And isn't he/she/it cute?
