Okay I have an update on the bator building-
The incubator is looking great so far! Since my parents didnt want to have any more chicks in the house at the moment since we are leaving soon for my cousins graduation from college and then to the beach, I had to think of some way to be able to hatch chicks but not have to fully raise them. An do ya know what I found after a while? A local quail hunting business is looking for new quail to hunt- yeah I know it's a hunting buisiness but going into buisiness by hatching and selling them game birds would really help my town since we have been struggling with the recession. The movie buisiness has helped a lot but with all the people who come to hunt here I could really help out the town by providing some locally-raised game fowl. The chicks will be hatched by me and raised perfectly and healthily until they are old enough to provide food and hunting for the town. Do you think I should? I would probably be able to keep a couple as pets, too. And selling them quail would also help me pay for the costs of other eggs to hatch since I pay for my own hatching eggs instead of my parents paying. :D

I got three eggs today!!!! pray for more tomorrow!!!

Nothing yet : ( But I grabbed a few serama eggs for you LMAO!!!!
I am from Rolla, Missouri. Its funny I was born on the Arkansas/Missouri border and lived there for 17 years. I had a pretty good accent going on and then at 17 married my husband, he joined the military and we have traveled the world for 18 years. My accent was non existent unless I was on the phone with my mother or grandmother. 2 years ago we moved back to MO and within a month the accent was back, my grandmothers old sayings were back and it was like I never left. My husbands favorites are Goodness Gracious, or Good Gravy.
My 3 year old is developing a really nice drawl just from being around the older generations of family and church folk.

WOW, not a city you hear of every day! I used to hang out there, go cruising the strip. I spent 5 years in Licking while my dad was stationed at Lost in the Woods. I miss Missouri very much.
