I went out to the coop today... And 4 of my pullets were dead... I am so sad. They were my favorite little girls. One escaped her brooder (she's great at flying) and drowned in the adult bird's water bucket.,. Poor little girl. 2 escaped and got trampled, and one... Hawk. At least I have 2 duckies due to hatch soon... But I will still miss these girls.

Geez! SO sad. I'm glad you got your duckies on the way. How old were your pullets?

oh Animal!!! I am so sorry!!!! (animal is always gonna be stuck in my head for you!) awwwww wow! We had a dead chick too out in the grow out pen. I don't understand, last night I sat with them for an hour watching and observing, I saw nothing out of the ordinary! I told DH I refuse to sell anything out of that pen now, he is stuck with more birds. Two of the bigger silkies were to go tomorrow, but now they are staying. Hope she wont get mad at me but I refuse to sell not knowing. I would be devastated if I sold sick birds : (. DH said sometimes they have other issues. yea ok Doc.

I will pray both of our hatches do well!!

The other marans in the bator is now pipped as is a brahma, I hope the broody is doing a good job with her marans!!!

I have a silkie and a brahma with nothing yet.

Already had 4!! Still nothing. They told me they might be taken back to the post office, I said why?? They said because they do have other deliveries. I said what the he77 does that have to do with anything. You said guaranteed by 3.!!! So you going to give me my shipping cost back. I will go postal on the postals if I have to pick them up in the morning and there dead!
