Chickssooner: sorry it took me so long to respond, very fussy 1 year old & his 3 bickering siblings didn't make it any easier. I was sent an email Sunday night that said eggs were being shipped first thing Monday morning. MPC didn't give me a set in stone date yet. They just said the week of the 13th. :-(

Sally...a box of chocolates for mother's day?

I have at least one fertile Serama egg, and one silkie!!! I can very clearly see the spider veins.
I'm fairly certain there are more but these two just jumped out at me when I did day 3 candle just now. Matilda the Sebright is also spidering.

I think I saw something happening in two other Seramas, and several other Silkies. I can hardly wait to check again in a few days.

with only one incubator and a week between your best option in my opinion would be to keep your first eggs set out in a cool dark place. Keep them big end up in the carton and tilt the carton 3x a day to simulate turning in the incubator. Set all your eggs at the same time. With that said you get the best viability with eggs that are 7 days or less old. So your first set will be on the old side when you set them.
