thank you sally, do you know what i had to do to get that pic? had to sit down on the ground, eye level with him and wait til he got close enough, well, he decided i might eat him so he didn't want to come close enough for a really good pic, THEN, comes the hard part, had to get my fat butt up off the ground, hubby was no where around

but my issue is that I like solitude and I cant stand crowds, like the movies or anything! I like my space. that place looks packed. (Can you tell I have never even lived in a town?)

I take that back, I did after divorce but moved shortly thereafter! lol
x2, where we live, only have two traffic lights in town(we live three miles outside of town) and i would love to have a place where i don't have the traffic we have out here in the country, everyone uses our road to cut thru to other towns and places, they don't even live out here

My Cornish X are laying!! I have a rooster (Salmon Favorolle) that is freakishly quiet, so I've put some of their eggs in the bator. If these hatch they are going to be the weirdest looking chickens, ever. What is the best way to be able to tell the Cornish X eggs from the other eggs of the same color? I tried to put food coloring in their vent (I read that on here somewhere) didn't work.

so you people are the only ones that I can say what I am up to and you understand...

Tonight is a butt fluff spruce up for several birds that have black berry skids and then a dusting for everyone. I know. It is so exciting.

I have no idea how to keep track of who laid what except stand there and wait or set up like a nanny cam or something. Will be interesting looking chicks.
