Woohoo. You all have been busy.

I bought a blue pied Peacock with the white eyed feather gene (1 in 500) (pretty rare) and a silver pied peahen. They are 3 years old and a breeding pair. They are beautiful. He is pretty tame. She isn't. She tore a couple of my fingers with her claws. I bled a lot. She was just trying to get away. I never would of believed how strong a pea could be. My India blues should hatch Saturday. Fingers still crossed. Ill post some pics tomorrow.

VERY busy day yesterday! I had three serama hatch, all cream and white. I processed 14 bobs and cots quail, Sold every puppy but one and the pups are only 1 week old, AND WONDERFUL homes! So one little girl remains until the other people get back to me! so excited! Made Sharpie shirts with the kids, cleaned brooders, Chad was over and brought his bator with a stink bomb explosion to clean and set all his pheasants and quail and I AGAIN set over a dozen serama, lockdown for the others is this week. I just cant hatch enough, or should I say the hens don't lay enough for all the people wanting chicks! And last night I had 3 sets of people come with downpayments and pick their pups, and took kids in pool for night swimming! Wonder what this day will hold!

ITS NOT RAINING TODAY!!!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT!

I don't think it will ever stop here.

Sumi, I forgot.... brahma, I have a double order going out! I still didn't get the ice packs I ordered! Hens stopped laying a tad its too darn hot and I cant blame them! hot and wet! yuk!
Yay! I hope you got a price for them too. Heat and wet is not a nice combination, unless the "wet" part is a swimming pool LOL You guys can seriously send us some rain if you've had enough, o.k? Our tanks got worryingly low again before this rainfall and though it rained hard it didn't fill up as much as we hoped it would.

Ironically the river bordering our farm is overfull. And home to 4 or 5 ducklings!

We see them nearly ever time we go down to the beach. They are completely wild and cute as heck! I'm going to put word out amongst the locals that I will pay a good sum for a few of those duck eggs and see what happens...
