ah you and me both! This chicken hobby has become a full-time job for me.I spent most of the day in the rain moving chickens around. I moved 8 young guineas to their own pen in back yard. My white Silkies now have their own pen
. The cochins are in their own pen, the colors are mixed together, but they are too young to get their groove on..
Didn't realize how many w/c black polish I had until I put them in together.. Still have 2 brooders going and my incubators full. I believe I need a intervention..
oh yeah and eggs going in as soon as incubator is empty..![]()

What they are not trained? he he hejust spent 20 mins chasing the stupid ducks... they'd rather mess around then go in the pen... lmao D'OH now back out to get more crap handled blah
Quote: that's for sure!
gracie that sucks!I have mites!!
I have a jar of poultry dust with permethrin. Can I just dust the coop and nesting boxes or do I have to do all the chickens too
?![]()
agree! and whenever I do my coops changing of bedding I use my sprayer with sevin in it and spray it down lightly and add dust when dry then add bedding, and every 3 four months I hit the birds up with a nylon with the dust in it and pat them down under wings butts all over!Do all the chickens too. Then repeat again in 7-10 days. And then again just to be sure you got them all. Sorry.
