Quote: What sucks is the soaking in Epsom 2x day and re wrapping and the care part, and I honestly believe that's how I got the "rest" of the infections out of my girls foot, soaking and squeezing again until it was no longer red and goopy. But working with a staph infection does put you guys at risk so please keep that in mind, I almost got some in my eye when squeezing so please be causious, they don't go over all that stuff well enough in all the "how toos" and staph infection is a nasty beast.

I never got the rest of the eggs from Chad he got on Ebay so I think I will suggest a broody for them, because I am finished incubating for a while when the rest of these hatch. I posted serama chicks and have no takers so I need to put some effort into CL and place an ad. I already hatched for most on my list.

kaybee I have 8+ eggs and I also have WFS roo over black polish eggs you interested in a few extra should be awesome chicks from eggs? I am hatching a few as I finally have fertile eggs from them!

or if anyone else would like to grow out a few, I need to research the white face gene and see how that works! Would be amazing to have a white faced black polish bird!

I just figured out that my roosters in the main coop decided to switch dominance today. Tom Jr. is almost 5 years old and has always been dominant, but Alexander who is 2 1/2 years old has taken over. Tom Jr. didn't allow Alexander to mate, but other than that, he respected him. Alexander, however, seems to be abusing his newly found power. Both are a bit beat up with bloody combs and wattles, but they should be ok.

I just feel bad for Tom Jr. He's always slept on the top roost with his favorite girls, but now he's confined to a ground level nesting box. Alexander bullies him at every chance he gets. I'm seriously considering finding a new home for Alexander, but I love them both so much.
awwwww, blood is not good coch! Good luck with that one! sucks!

Tylan 50 2cc/day 5 days should clear it right up.
I will look into that.
Yes but with the window phones you can't use apps as with the iPhones or HTC

I have lots of apps. Amazon barcode scanner is my fave. I will admit to having more kid aps though. My 4yr old uses my phone more than I do.

I am so paranoid about that. I wore gloves and 6yr old only helped with the clean paper towels and bandages. Might try some tylan if she is still looking bad. Her feet were not swollen. I don't inspect the bottoms often but I am always looking at the tops for any swelling.
