I'm back!
Wow, it's been so long since I've seen you all! It's been months!
There's so much I have to tell you all, I just don't know if I can fit it all into one post!

Hello, stranger!

And here she is - she popped herself out and there was a tiny drop of blood on her navel but she is good now. All yolk and blood were absorbed. She is currently curled up sleeping in my hand on my chest. I have a feeling this one will be a pet just like Ripley my one eyed pullet who will sit in my lap and get pet for as long as I'll let her, LOL! She survived our dog and cat attacking her at 2 weeks old - thus the name Ripley - she is tough

And there she is! Awww

Well done, both of you!

Found this wonderful article here today when I was looking for something completely different. LOL Got to love this search function. Anyway, I thought you guys may like it. It's about causes of of embryo mortality, embryo development, causes of malformed embryos/chicks etc, etc and there's some nice pics too (near the end, not too graphic) It's a looong article, but a very good read:

I candled the eggs tonight (lockdown tomorrow), all looks good. Plastered egg looks o.k.
