So bummed :( My 10 rare bielefelder eggs are all completely clear on day 8 - and they are in pristine condition - just not fertile :/ Day 14 for my 3 colloncas and 3 huastecs and 1 of each has died, sigh.... meanwhile my 2 lockdown eggs pipped this morning and are still just sitting there.

i hate it when that happens.

I carted 36 Wyandottes and 12 buff Brahmas 7500 miles this trip to have them candle clear on day 9. I tend to have some egg batches that fail completely. When that happens its usually weather related - travelling in a heat wave.

today is hatch day. Starting the excitement are some Heritage White Leghorns (10/12 candl/d ok) and Banty Cochins (33/42) that have pipped.
