I see the problem Sally, Does your state have separate tests for each of those organisms? NC state has one, combined test for the pollorum and mycoplasmas and then while they have the bird in hand for the blood test, they do a tracheal swab for the AI.
from my local...

we are only doing the PT and AI no others are necessary for such a small flock they said unless I want them.

Here's my yard

WHAT?!?! It's only November. I'm not ready for snow!

Oh my god, I just went outside and its freezing, I had to put on two hoodies and gloves. There was something like the remnants of snow or sleet maybe on my chicken coop. I'm moving to SoFl!

Last night was fairly interesting.

I had a biology exam last night, so I left for school an hour early to study. When I pulled into the college parking lot, there was a black and white duck sitting at the entrance. She wouldn't move for my car, so I got out, grabbed her, and brought her inside. If I wouldn't have grabbed her, she would have been either hit by a car or she'd end up starving and dehydrated since everything is frozen.

She's small, but she's a bit bigger than a call duck. She has the pattern of an ancona duck.

She was extremely thirsty and hungry. Throughout the entire 4 hours that I was in class, she didn't poop. She seems somewhat tame. I'm not sure what to do. I'm thinking about hanging up flyers titled "Found Duck", but I'm not sure. What would a domesticated duck be doing in the middle of a large town?

Did she fly away from someone's back yard?
Did she attempt to migrate?
Was she dumped?

Aw poor duck. Good thing you found her before it was too late! All three of those are possible, so I can't be sure. I think you should hang up those flyers.
