good grief I threw ALOT of links in the Hatching 101 article! I just went through and updated and made sure all linkage works! Took me an hour! LOL of course I had to re-read some info! ha ha ha

Shopping list for chicken drugs

Amprolium (corid) - for coccidiosis
VetRx - colds, croup, scaly legs and a de-stresser
Oxytetracyclin (Agrimycin) for resp illnesses
Sulfamethoxine (Dimethox) for just about anything and my "go to first" drug - including coccidiosis and resp infections

I have only had to give one treatment of dimethox when a chicken developed a runny nose. stopped symptoms instantly

bactim or septra is sulfamethoxine - often used in humans for UTI. pet shops sell it for fish tanks. you could open capsules and disolve in water
this one

reason I am asking, tomorrow morning I am making a TRIP to a animal supply store for puppy shots and such and I would love to check pricing on some other stuff I should add to what I already stocked up with. Thanks for your time I know your a busy wanted man ;)

Sure thing Coch, I like to know that our
wink.png
info is all backed up!

I have to write a 15 page research paper for my capstone course. I was thinking of writing about hatching eggs, but I'm worried that I won't be able to find enough peer-reviewed journal articles to back up what I already know from experience and our discussions.

I may look into it again because hatching eggs would be easy to write about. Too bad I can't quote your article as a source.
