Diary & Notes ~ Air Cell Detatched SHIPPED Chicken Eggs for incubation and hatching

I have had to get rid of so many roosters.

Lots of chicken for the freezer! That's how I'm looking at it... .At least they had good, happy, healthy lives with a quick end.
On another note, I have a bunch of shipped eggs with saddled air cells going into lockdown. I marked them with pencil, but some extend quite far down. How are people's success rates with these "extreme" saddled air cells?

some wont turn, its all about the area inside that chick has to move and position, I have a section in the 101 and assist article about them, sometimes they will even pip internally but for some reason cant hit the outside of the egg to external. I watch them and when the majority of hatch is complete I start investigating with candles tapping and so forth as I put into the article.

The eggs that u had hatch last week had pretty bad saddle air cells. And they hatched fine the babies just piped closer to the middle of the eggs.

some wont turn, its all about the area inside that chick has to move and position, I have a section in the 101 and assist article about them, sometimes they will even pip internally but for some reason cant hit the outside of the egg to external. The eggs that u had hatch last week had pretty bad saddle air cells. And they hatched fine the babies just piped closer to the middle of the eggs.

I'm hoping for the same! Really need these guys to hatch...

Just hatched 17 chicks from mama and papa.

Still 6 unhatched. Will leave them in there for 2 more days but from what I found once the major hatch is over the rest never hatch for what ever reason.
