Teeny silkie ducks..... they are skitso unfriendly and FAST I dont trust kids with them at all.
STRONG ducklings!! I want to vent sex them tonight. But they are adorable!

So sweet. I hear you on the wild . Baby calls are like that too! Crazy! Oh, I candled Poppy's eggs tonight, 3 quitters, but the 3 that are growing...big fat air cells! Wouldn't it figure?? I guess mama knows best, lol!

I am so bummed, I just candled those 10 goose eggs I was trying to incubate for the elderly couples pond, since they cyotes killed all their geese when the early freeze froze the pond last year, well they are not fertile day 7 nothing at all I so wanted to hatch them for her. I thought she was going to cry on the phone with me. The animals is all they have anymore, they take the time to enjoy them alot more than we do for sure.

So next week I will hunt for local geese or eggs for them. I dont know anyone who deserves something beautiful more than those two, love them so kind and generous!

I'm still waiting on my phone call for my goslings. I'm worrying it might not come. I told Ray, if it doesn't pan out, it must be for a reason and I'm waiting for next year. ON EVERYTHING!! I did get some beautiful call ducklings from SilkieSensations in the mail a few days ago. 2 drakes and a girl. I am soo excited for them to feather out...one is blue fawn pied

your are too kind!  When I spoke to her she said she wanted to try her own eggs in another few weeks and see if their is change, I think she said something about babies from her last two.  Thank you!

I have 2 external pips!!!!!!!! Both bantams. I have 2 more bantam internal pips and one duck internal pip. The chickens are on day 22+1 hour. Ducks are day 27+1 hours.

I'm very excited to see the pics, fox!
As for me...my chickens are finally in a permanent coop!

I now have two babies out. Both have feathered feet and toes and the first has 5 toes on one for and 4 on the other.

First one when it hatched at 430 this morning.

Second when it hatched at 1130 am.

First mostly fluffed and the 3rd pip.
