He internally pipped last night and externally this morning with a hole that I could see in. I saw the vein do I opened it a bit more.

If/when doing assisted hatching, if you see veins or blood, don't progress further, the chicken still needs time. I don't start mucking about in there if they ever externally pipped until 24 hours after that external pip.

The one we spoke about in pms, did externally pip and then hatch on its own, even though I was so worried about it lol.

Yes yes I know all that. I just saw the vein not part of the membrane and remembered seeing a picture of a chick that a vein had almost strangled. I just wanted to make sure it was ok. Im not messing with it.
