8 eggs, the two hat weren't pipped were dead. No clue why.
It's amazing, I seem to have better hatches when I leave the eggs in the incubator with the Turner on. Maybe I'm just using a better incubator with more even temperature dispersal.
Have two ducklings out now!
I went to bed a little while ago...but I think I'm going to go check on my eggs first.

Even the little egg I crushed one side of half way through has pipped right through my red fingernail polish on the egg!

cool the night my ducklings hatched i couldn't sleep i kept checking on the eggs every few mintues.

The eggs she sent are a mix of colors that include pied, silver pied, white and black shouldered. My birds here are the plain India Blues and some of them have white flight feathers and can produce white when bred together.

Why am I seeing so many foot over head malpositions? One one the shipped eggs has it's foot right on top of it's head!

My first shipped egg to hatch!

It was seriously malpositioned, most likely due to the wonky air cell. It had pipped internally, but could not reach the shell because it had it's foot over it's head *and* it's beak over it's wing.

awesome, no feet issues?

Sorry everyone, I have a full house, a bunch of birthdays, kids that want to swim all evening and animals to care for! Summer is nutty here! plus I cant type on my cell so I tend to read only.
I cant keep up with it all, we have to do our npip stuff again in july plus I am taking a vacation over the 4th not going away just doing what I need to do WITHOUT KIDS! I love kids but OMG summer is so hard for me! I am still hatching, bators are all full, hatched three pheasants have three peahen eggs in and two look fertile so far, silkie ducks havent lost the weight they need so I dont know how that will go, have a hawk issue with our big brahma, they try to take them and half kill them with their talons and then drop them because they are too heavy, they are the only run without cover so I dont know what I will do at this point. more vacation work I guess ughhhh, try having to kill hens when you have a house full of kids, not a happy camper at all! dogs are too hot and dont want to be outside either. at this point all the birds are hanging under the coop to stay cool so I hope that is enough to save a few for now, stupid roosters are wooses.

Sally, I am so excited. I had 14 eggs form DMRippy (super blue egg layer) and I had the incubator in the storeroom on day one. In La the heat spiked to 110 in the 'bator . I battled all day to get it below 100 and couldn't. So I brought them in. Not really expecting something but yesterday on day 20 I started hatching. I did the dry hatch 35%-45% humidity. Higher yesterday and today. Out of the 13 that went to lockdown I have 11 babies and I'm hearing more cheeping. I'm a total newbie with a new incubator. Stunned. You have helped me so much. I'll try to get pics soon.
