YAY Electric! Just stay on pleaseeeeeeeeeee!! Eric said they cut down the trees, left them lay, but fixed the wires!!!! So we at least have electric but 419 remains closed, I am sure not for long now! yaya!! They musta been working late!! Way to go LINEMEN!!!!

My egg was not fertile but it was sure pretty. Beautiful color to the yolk. Little guy is eating it for breakfast.

Yay that's great! And the incubator came in!!! it is AWSOME! I'm going to try to test it out soon!!!! And I candled the eggs again yesterday and they look wonderful- very strong veining, energetic embryos, perfect! I tossed 2 dead ones and an infertile egg yesterday, but all the others are doing fine! I can't start another incubation in the new incubtor until I'm done with this one, but maybe I could use it as the hatcher this time? And the people who gave me the eggs for my first incubation that turned into the chickens I have right now checked on them and told me they all look like perfectly healthy hens!!!!! So happy!!!!!

how did u know tape worm, see them? curious!! Gonna go see if I got any today already! They are waiting for me to let them out I am

yep; looked down one day and there was a fresh wet poop with the little white worm bits in it wiggling around. I am now also feeding fermented feed which is really good probios and will probably help keep them from getting an overload again. Haven't seen any more worms.

yes, think saurkraut, dill pickles, kim chee, ect. Those along with buttermilk, whey and other things are the result of lactic acid fermentation (so is real apple cider vinegar). I found out about doing this with chickens from this thread;
