Great idea!!! What is the size dif from quail to serama? and what changes have you made in regards to hatching with the little ones?

hatchwise I did the same as usual .. set it to between 100-101 filled reservoir (sp? ) and let it run ... did place them a little off to side so maybe godzilla babies wouldnt hurt if they hatched at the same time ... will try to get a picture today with it next too a quarter or nickle if i can get it to be still long enough .. it flies around doing laps in its brooder box lol
 
You know, I saw some quail for sale 3 weeks ago by the same guy I bought my hens from... Non since. Wonder if they sold out and if there's a market for quail here.... I've got to stop looking at this thread! LOL
Sally: I swear it was you who posted pic here of some small coops... A-frame ones. I looked in your album on your profile, but I can't see it. DH said he'll build me some to house breeding pairs in. I want to have a go at breeding Leghorns, just 2-3 types for starters. I found some examples of small coops in the Coops section that I showed him, but I remember those ones I saw. I thought at the time that it looked like a nice set-up for something like what I want to do. I thought about free ranging the girls, but I'm worried about foxes and this yard that is so open. We're in and out all the time, I can't babysit them.

LOL I have alot on my pinterest chicken board !!! I will see if I have them in my pics folder on laptop.... mind u they wont have the links anymore : (

Some of the pics I've uploaded doesn't show up in my album either. Must've got lost when they changed the photo view settings or something. I don't mind going through the whole thread, it's just that we're not exactly flying here and now and then I click on something and wait and wait and wait. Just looking through your album this morning took forever! It happens in the evenings mostly. But first thing in the morning we're usually fast. I'll have a look then.
