Diary of a Chicken Owner: Day 2

Attila the Hen has been captured and put back in her coop! She was lying down on a table on our porch, and we threw a sheet on her. She is now safely roosting on her pole with Heidi and Rosemary. They have yet to lay an egg, though. I believe they are 20 - 22 weeks of age, so they should start laying soon. (I think?)

Hah, thanks! It's free for anyone to use, her full name is actually Attila the Hen (A copy of Attila the Hun), but I called her "Attila". Before she escaped again, that is. She's gone for good, now. I'm hoping to get some more today, actually. Some winter layers.
