I have an Dickey's incubator with a digital thermometer/hygrometer. If you can afford it, I'd go with the digital display, it is very easy to read even if you are walking by at a fast clip. Good choice for us busy chicken havers. LOL

an electronic t-stat might or might not have a digital display depending on who manufactures it

That thing in the front that is digital is a thermometer not a thermostat
The thermometer and hygrometer are digital. The thermostat is electronic but it does not have a display or any kind. For that you must use the digital thermometer.
If you have further questions I suggest you contact Mr. Dickey himself who has always been happy to answer inquiries.

They are electronic thermostat, not digital. You got a picture of it? His website dosen't list a digital thermostat.
It's a elec Therm with a wafer back up... I called and he confirmed this... I don't know why his site only says wafer in the specs...
That is what I said. It is a electronic thermostat. Not a digital thermostat. For it to be digital thermostat it would have a digital read out. The thing in the front is a digital thermomater.

Your the one that said it had a digital thermostat. I was just telling you the thing in the picture is a thermometer not a thermostat. I know they are equiped with a electronic thermostat and digital thermometer. But not digital thermostat. I know Dickey makes good bators but he is behind the sportsman. They came out with a digital thermostat. So if you want digital controls not electronic you will have to go with GQF. I'm shure MR. Dickey will fallow in the next couple years or so.
