I know how u feel

I recently gave away my rooster because my hens couldn't take it. My whole family is heartbroken. So I made a seed art picture to remember him.
It's basically a picture of your chicken made completely out of rice, millet, cracked corn, etc. on a painted background with a special message made out of seeds, such as
"We'll remember you", "I will always love you", etc.

This is wonderful! I just lost my beloved Carl

He died of a neurological disease.. Some type of failure to thrive. It was so sudden that we found him though. He was gone in the middle of the coop.

I have never cried so much before. I have never had to handle a dead animal before that though.

This is him the day before he died. I still miss him so much!

ETA: I know he looks sick. He has looked like this for 3 months. He was super happy though. He was just getting sleepy before bed time. He ate 10 crickets before this was taken. I know he had a wonderful last day

He was a buff laced polish bantam. He had his hair cut here to help with his vision.
