Did anyone else set eggs on or near 10/16/09?

Well we have our first batch of baby chicks now. I had a 100% hatch rate after I removed the unfertilized eggs. Here is a photo of the new chickies.

A couple questions for people who have done this before:

1. Should I wait until they are all dry to move em to the brooder or take the two early guys?
2. How long until they will start to eat and drink?

They won't eat for 2 days or 3 .... absorbing the yolk. I take mine out before 24 hours, but you can leave them in for 2 days.

If you open the bator up, you risk losing your humidity, and the pipped ones can dry out and not zip.

See, if I take mine out at 12-24 hours, they are usually eating pretty quickly.

I have a pip!!! Only one out of a whole bunch of eggs, but its one! LOL Mine aren't officially due until tomorrow afternoon! Congrats to all of those who have hatched and good luck to those who are in the process!
