Did anyone ever have a duck hatch 12 ducklings in one day?

Today we had 12 baby ducklings hatch from one mom and dad, all with in a couple hours. Does this normally happen? How if the incubation period is say 25 days did they all hatch in the same day around the same time? We found this amazing. If anyone knows how please let us know we are super curious!

Congratulations on the great hatch! Ducks lay one egg a day until they have a full nest, but the eggs do not start to develop until she sits on them continuously. They develop all at the same time and then hatch close to each other... often not all on the same day though.

Talk about timing, we were wondering how the ducks knew to hatch on the same day. Thank you so much for the knowledge.
