Did anyone set eggs on June 9th? Wanna hatch with me?

Maybe you guys can help - PLEASE, with a cherry on top?

I just got in 2 dozen pretty Porto eggs this morning...I already have 20 in the bator...due on Wed. - what do I do??? Do I set the new eggs and just not turn them...I don't know what to do! I want my Porto eggs!!! Help!

Thanks so much for your lovely participation in my crazy life, lol...

Finally went to bed at 1:30AM with stiff joints from contouring myself around the incubator, on the hard floor, and staring obsessively at....eggs!
Woke up early to 3 more chicks so we have 7/11 that have hatched.
They are so cute ...

3 more to hopefully come and I think we were right on the questionable dud as there is no pip.
I hope all is going well with....
...little quail
.....all the silkies to come this week
....new incubators
....first hatches
....second round hatches (hope things will be better this time for you)
....soccer playing chicks and resisting the urge to open the bator to take them out (I`m here today!!!)
....???

Thanks for hatching together up to this point and good luck with the rest.

They`ll need to be turned and won`t the humidity be to high for the new eggs when you go into lockdown? I have never tried staggered hatches (brain can barely handle one!!!) but I know lots have success so I hope you get some help. and that others like me can learn through you.
Good luck.

I dry hatch...so my humidity only goes to 55% and that is the tops...I always have issues with my chickies drowning at humidity levels over 55%...when they come out they are nice and moist and the egg is clean...I think it is just the area that I live in...I have NO experience with staggering hatches...I have no clue what to do!!! Thanks for responding to me...I should have used the egg turner, but I didn't have a clue how it worked so I chose to turn them by hand...gosh I am a dummy....

We had such bad luck with our egg turner working on and off...sent it back....thought it was working okay for the first couple days this hatch but not so we just took it out. There must be some tricks to the staggered hatches because so many people do it and have success. Would you have access to a second incubator?

Oh No! Bobbi's eggs are not cheep. Quick look on CL or post on CL that you need a incubator.I just ordered one more incubator from Ebay turner and fan plus shipping $86 new great deal but that would be to late for your egg. Are the eggs in the incubator your eggs? How many new eggs do you have? Maybe fine a broody hen near you.

I just found out that my fan is supost to be running 24/7 and it cuts of when the heater cuts of but this is my 4th hatch and is doing good. I'll try to fix it after this hatch. Just started a new hatch last night so I have two incubators going.

Amazing!

Last candle confused me at 1st. What the heck? I can't see anything and then..OH! There's the air cells.

All available space inside is now occupied.

No odors.

Ventilation holes opened.

Water added and water adding port now open.

6 out of 6 eggs made it to lock-down.

So far the test run on the new incubator is looking good.
