Did anyone watch election coverage on CNN last night (Tue, Nov 4)?

There was a story somewhere about votes from those in Iraq not being counted because they didn't get here in time.
Anyone have a link to that story?

That lawsuit was filed by the McCain people. Soldiers did not receive their ballots until late,

, I sure hope those brave men and women's votes are counted. If anyone's vote should be counted, it's theirs.

I agree totally, regardless of who the armed forces folks would vote for - If anyone deserves to have their vote counted, it's them.

Shoud be interesting to hear more about this.

It seems they do their projections on what they call "exit polls". Supposedly they have people standing outside the polls asking everyone who they voted for. Once they've gotten what they consider a random sampling of people, they make their projection.

I too think they could wait longer to start posting same.

On thing that annoys me about elections, especially in this state, is that 10 seconds after the polls close, they call it blue. Like they have counted all the votes that second. I mean really, how to they KNOW?

I had fun playing with all of CNN.com's website map gadgets and so forth. It's part of living in the Digital Age -- having up-to-the-minute information and commentary on any subject, sorted for easy examination and evaluation.

I watched Obama's speech via the live video feed from the couch while I was sitting here with my laptop (wireless internet). I played with CNN.com's electoral map and made up my own "What if?" scenarios. I read Time articles, discussed the election with friends in England and Australia via Facebook, and monitored the happenings on BYC. I chatted with my mom who lives across the state after midnight, and we shared interesting links to stories and pictures.

I love technology, and it loves me. I can learn about anything I want to within seconds, and last night was just another example of that.
