Cockerel. He has the long, thin male only saddle feathers and male hackle feathers. It's not just because his tail is curved. The shape of his feathers are completely different from the pullet's.
Just another quick question.
Does anyone know how to tell if they are pure-breed Orpingtons or crosses?
I bought them as crosses but when I asked what they were crossed with I was told they could be pure breed or crossed with a cochin.
Ive looked at a million photos online, and am leaning towards purebred (but Im a bit bias).
Im not even sure you can tell?
