Did I cook them??

So I haven't been keeping track of the days, and my post where I said I set them says "2 weeks ago." Is that literally 14 days ago, or some time around then? I was relying on that post to keep track since I didn't write it down, but I thought it would actually say a date, rather than just a time frame.. :/

I'm using a Little Giant 9200 series with no turner or fan. I feel like the directions kept saying 99.5 degrees, but they were assuming you were using a fan, while on here everyone was saying 102-103 without the fan. So I was shooting for 102.

I set the eggs last night at about midnight. The temp got down to about 70-75 because I was opening it, plus when I was running my bator with no eggs, the thermometer was on the screen at that level, not at top of egg level, and it was at 102 during the test run.

Well after setting the eggs, it didn't seem to want to get up past 90 degrees, and I checked back for about 45 minutes. I thought maybe it was the difference of where the thermometer was. So I turned it up JUST A TINY BIT, and went to bed.

I got up this morning and checked on them right away, and I about had a heart attack when I saw the thermometer read 112!! Is all hope lost now? Are they cooked? I'm so bummed. It's taken be a week just to get these 14 eggs from my ducks, and now that they're free ranging and discovered my big pond, I feel like I'll never see an egg from them again.

It says 14 days ago on my screen and the post above says 17 days, hope that helps

When I click on that post, it says posted 25 days ago.

Yeah, the first post looks like 25 days ago (mine says 3 weeks, 4 days aka: 25 days) but those are the first batch that I gave up on.

I'm going off of post #24, when I set the second set. Lacychick is right. Hers gives the actual days, rather than weeks like mine does for some reason.

I did this once thinking I could use a of to pinpoint the date.

Note to selves, don't try to use BYC as a hatch calendar!

I believe they are due Monday. That would be 21 days. Is lockdown the last 3 days or 2 days?
