I have been scouring local Craiglist ads looking for Lavender. I've thought I found it a few times, but I either got no response, or they weren't quite the right color. These guys popped up and I think I finally found some. The dad is the mature drake in the back, and the mom is one of the black ducks. The rest are a single clutch of eggs from the pair. I've been trying to understand Lavender genetics, and if the black hen was already split to Lavender (just a guess/assumption, no way to know for sure), this seems like a probable ratio of colors in the offspring?
