Did I get lucky? Cockerel behaviour

I’ve been surprised at how relaxed my cockerels are, I was expecting them to chase the pullets and fight with each other on occasion, also expected some signs of aggression from at least one of them
I have three cockerels that are five months old, and they all get along really well, with each other, the pullets and with people
They had a very slight rough stage a few months ago but they act similar to my hens now
The alpha rooster ignores the other roosters and stands guard outside the hutch when the sun sets for a while
The other two get along really well and work together to defend the flock from magpies
They’ve never forced the pullets even though they are the same age ands could be laying now (but it’s winter)
Don’t chase the hens either but do wing dances
Did I get super lucky with good boys? I raised them all from chicks and didn’t have any issues
Everyone who sees my flock is surprised how chill they are
Is there a way I can get the same result again if I raise more? Or just luck of the draw? I know they could still change but it’s hard to imagine

5 months old is still very young. If everyone is getting along well now that is great but don’t be surprised if behavior changes later. I’ve had some be super sweet until about 18 months old and then they suddenly despised everyone, and I had one that was a little jerk from day 7(not even kidding-he didn’t make it to 5 months cuz he terrorized everyone that badly he had to go). I would say there is some genetic component to temperament and possibly some learned behavior. I personally have had more luck with NOT over interacting with my roos so they remain wary of me/people instead of them thinking they can “take me on” in a fight, but that is just what seems to work best for our place, everyone seems to find their own path to what works and what doesn’t for them.

I used to cuddle them when they were chicks but when I realised they were roosters I let them interact with me when they wanted to, I think your technique is better but my first time raising chicks the cuteness is hard to ignore ☺️
My roosters seem to view me as food provider but not a rival
At least if their behaviour does change they are tiny and not very good at jumping and flying
Below is the extent of squabbles
